The only people who will work on your project are Dream Fence employees. Our team members have experience, and we will be familiar with your landscape needs. All our installers work directly under the supervision of the company’s foreman or owner.
We have all the necessary licenses for our area and carry insurance for our projects. Some larger construction projects require special licenses and certifications. We have trusted members of the landscaping community with whom we work for these special cases.
Dream Fence builds fences in Northern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. For a list of cities, please visit our Service Areas.
The cost of a fence depends on several factors. The main determining factors include the type of fence material selected, the style of fence being built, the type and number of gates installed, and the number of linear feet of fence required. Linear footage is calculated by measuring the perimeter of the area that the fence will be built on. We recommend pressure-treated pine for privacy fences as it is the most economical material choice.
If your backyard backs up against your neighbor’s yard, we recommend a privacy fence with a height that gives you the most privacy. Usually, this can be accomplished with a 6ft height. However, Dream Fence can do height transitions between 6ft and 8ft to give you more privacy or view, depending on your preferences.
Our aluminum fence is a popular choice if your backyard does not back up against a neighbor but perhaps to a green space or pond.
The turnaround time for fence installation depends on several factors, including the type of fence, length of the fence to be installed, and site conditions. Project time would also be affected by the removal of any existing fence.
The land rights may vary in your area. You may need to check with your local Tax Assessor’s office for the actual parcel/land dimensions. However, the ownership of an existing fence is typically the same owner of the land on which the fence is installed. Dream Fence does not conduct any property surveys or imply property lines. If there is an existing fence, you should check with your neighbors to ensure the fence is yours. A survey company can mark your property lines for a fee.
When fences are installed using prefabricated panels, it can be difficult to properly fence slopes and irregular ground levels. You will usually get large gaps at the bottom areas and uneven capping. Dream Fence does NOT use prefabricated fence panels. We build custom fences. Custom fences (or stick-built fences) allow us to better follow the lay of the land (topography) and give a much smoother transition. We can include custom transitions as an upgrade to your fence installation.
